Who's it for?
Golden Scars is for anyone who's been through tough times. If you've experienced long-term stress, burnout, trauma and/or overwhelm, and want to bring your nervous system back into balance, this program is for you.
What will happen?
I will weave together Earth-based modalities to create a gentle healing space with simple care practices you can try on your own. We'll meet three times over three months, tending to aspects of your physical, psycho-emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, starting with a holistic intake. The care practices will likely include herbal remedies, flower essences, movement, nourishment, and guided meditation. The program is highly personalised based on your situation and we will co-create the process each step of the way.
What's your approach?
Golden Scars is about embracing, and not erasing, your inner wounds. Who knows: they might become inner gold after alchemizing them through this process. Expect me to prioritize your psycho-emotional safety, comfort and specific access needs. My approach is gentle, patient and light-hearted.
Why is it called Golden Scars?
The program name is inspired by the Japanese art of mending broken pottery, kintsugi, which honours the history and "imperfections" of each piece of functional art. In this way, Golden Scars is about reintegrating the gold found in the shadows of our experiences in order to feel more secure, aware and whole.
